Due to team growth we are looking for an experienced DevOps engineer to join our team. This person will be responsible for helping us to streamline our systems and make for smoother, more automated deployments of our supported applications.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring best practice is followed
- Work alongside product stakeholders to gather and prioritise requirements for ongoing application development
- Continue to reduce technical debt
- Meeting any security requirements from the client
- Working alongside other team members and providing guidance and assistance if required
- Mentoring an apprentice
Ideal Candidate:
- Can provide evidence of previous delivery
- As you will be dealing with stakeholders, good communication skills are required
- Experience of working in government or public sector
- Experience in public cloud technologies would be desirable, but not essential
- Experience of working in an Agile manner
- Have experience in using Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS ECS/EKS
Salary range: £35,000 – £55,000 (dependent upon appropriate clearances) + benefits
